This Chambres d'Hôtes is situated in a 143 year old building and is located in a peaceful environment in a rural area along a main road to the South of France, between the hills, close to a river. There are 6 camping spots available on site (from € 15 until € 18 per night). Clermont Ferrand is the nearest international airport. The nearest train station is Montlucon.

This accommodation is in a wonderful part of the department Puy de Dôme in a picturesque place called Buxieres-sous-Montaigut. This department is part of the French region Auvergne located in Central France. Buxieres-sous-Montaigut is located near the French town Montlucon.

The village of Lapeyrouse is 5 km away and has a bakery, restaurant and large swimming lake with pedal boats, beaches and a bar which sells snacks and ice creams in summertime.

The River Sioule is 20 km away, very nice to go for a canoe trip, fishing and swimming.

Saint Eloy les Mines is an old mining town and here you will find all the shops and facilities. This village is located 5 km from la Perche. Besides a few large supermarkets, the village has a beautiful recreational lake.

Montlucon is the nearest large town with a beautiful old medieval city center. Just before Montlucon you will pass through the spa village Neris les Bains, here you can visit the spa and there is a beautiful 18 hole golf course.

To visit the volcanoes is the Puy de Dome worth. In fine weather, you have a fantastic view over the city of Clermont Ferrand and the extinct volcanoes of the Massif Central.

Vichy is a great shopping city with many beautiful buildings such as the Opera House and is an hour's drive from La Perche. Along the way you'll pass the artist village Charroux and through the woods of Forêt des Colettes.

In la Bosse (17 km) is a tree climbing park for children. Also suitable for children from 4 years.

We offer 5 B&B rooms in central France on a beautiful Victorian estate with Dutch owners. Less than 15 km from the Péage A71 is the estate well hidden in the French countryside of the region Les Combrailles. Between the towns Montluçon and Clermont-Ferrand.

We offer spacious rooms and have a family room with private bathroom available, 2 rooms with a shared bathroom for a large family or a luxurious 2 person room with views to the Puy de Dôme.

The B&B also offers a spacious gite (cottage), this is the official residence of the estate and the property is fully furnished and suitable for 2-9 persons.
On our small campsite we have 6 places for tents or small caravans with electricity.

Our region is well suited for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists, culture activities and you can visit many beautiful villages and cities. The river Sioule invites you on a canoe trip, fishing and paddling.

5 km away, we also have a great "plan d'eau" this lake belongs to the village of Lapeyrouse and is easily accessible to small children and has sandy beaches and a playground.
